Felted Wool Scarf
Going for a dog walk with friends but it could be like 2ºC warmer? Mooching around town window shopping, getting a bit chilly while you browse? Cycling to work with the cold wind in your face? Look no further, I've got you sorted.
Each felted wool scarf starts life from a cone of yarn in home studio. I use a knitting machine to knit this wool up into really long strips of loosely knit fabric (over 700 rows!), which is then shrunk to size in the wash. This shrinking process matts all the wool fibres together creating the felted, luxurious, thick scarf you see today!
Outer: 100% Lambswool. 100% cosy.
Note: Due to the shrinking process being slightly unpredictable, some sizes and fabric density may vary slightly. This is also dependent on the colour as the different dyes can affect the felting process differently!
